Newba’s pressure vessel prototyping process begins with
generating a CAD/CAM model, then digital design-optimization,
and lastly the 5-axis CNC machining operations.
This formula closely replicates Top Fuel’s sequence of
bulletproof engine fabrication, but their first unalterable
production rule is - you must start with a forged billet.
• Newba’s design specifications stipulate beginning with
a forged billet of AE70 stainless magnesium-lithium.
